  • Snail Mail Team

    Responsible for collecting Opt-In data first, then will be vetting and distributing curriculum and activity packets.

  • Visual & Physical Communication Team

    Will be creating modifications for delivery and curriculum including activity packets to support individuals whose main form of communication is physical/visual.


    • Translate the opt in offer for people who don't read
    • Review the Project Search Curriculum and identify the challenges for visual and physical communicators
    • Create a set of modification recommendations for presenting in zoom or creating online materials intended for v/p communicators
    • Review packets from the Snail Mail committee and revise, supplement and modify for v/p communicators
    • Produce and send those modified packets in coordination with the snail mail committee
  • Web Explorers (Crawlers) Team

    Exploring the web and online resources for curricula, activities, instructional supports and media for use in teaching. 

    This committee will also devise the vetting criteria for how to assess whether or not we want to use  a given find.

    Lastly, they will brainstorm ideas for delivery and instructional strategies to delivery the content across the wide range of indiduals participating in our learning process. 

  • Web Page Update Team

    A single committee that will have individuals taking helm on specific areas of the web page for maintenance and upkeep.

    The members will collaborate with the other committees to get the information out to all stakeholders that each committee deems broadcast worthy. 

  • YouTube & Vimeo Team

    Will be making, uploading and posting videos to Vimeo, promoting videos from DeAnza to reach all participants and staff and managing any live events on youtube, vimeo or facebook. 

    • Check the legalities of live events on YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook. 
    • read the terms of agreement and privacy policies
    • contact the companies to determine if we can have private live events
    • Reach out to clients who have their own channels and see if they would be willing to present their work in the program
    • Develop curriculum to get clients up and running as content producers in these channels
  • Las Colinas Studio

    This committee will get started after the distance program is well under way.
