This show and share let's give our peers ideas for advocating with their own questions at their next annual meeting. If your team would like, take notes to create a question bank for individuals to use in the future
Questiona to Ask during Annual Meetings (5-10 min)
PRESENTERS: Review the basic format for an ISP meeting for program participants. Feel free to share questions that have helped individuals advocate for themselves in the past. If need be, ask the individual first and DO NOT SHARE any revealing names of those who asked. What are some questions you think participants should ask in their annuals? Share those too!
Everyone in program has an annual meeting. These meetings are used to address your personal goals and for you to get the most out of attending program. You can adovocate for changes and goals you'd like to achieve at these meetings. Start by learning how to ask for what you want.
- What are questions that have to be asked during service meetings? What is always covered?
- Brainstorm a few advocacy questions as a team, what do you think we should be asking at our annual meetings?
- Note them in the ISP Questions Worksheet*
PRESENTERS: Support participants to use the worksheet to note questions they might want to ask at their next meeting.

Questions for My Annual Meeting(10-15 min)
PRESENTERS: Use the list from the earlier conversation to compare different question themes and examine more questions participants can ask at their annual meetings.
Compare differences between the questions you came up with.
- What sort of topic is being discussed?
- How can we make sure all participants know what they can advocate for in their annual meetings?
Make a list to reference.
Try out some of the questions in a role play if your group wants to.
Making Sure You Wake Up On Time (5-10 min)

Waking up on time* for program or any other plans is an important part of planning. Complete the worksheet as a team for inclusion in portfolios.
Can we use our planner pages to support waking up on time? How about that habit tracker as an option?
